Anyone who wants to up their river safety game, if you just want to feel empowered while paddling with your friends to make a difference in avoiding and solving rescue situations on the water, to aspiring to gaining leadership and coaching qualifications.

Ideal for: Paddlers and leaders building safe foundations on moderate whitewater
Duration: 2 days
Certification: BCAB Moderate Water Safety

Ideal for: Leaders operating on steeper, more technical rivers
Duration: 2 or 3 days
Certification: BCAB Advanced Water Safety
Prerequisite: Confident paddling on Grade 3 equivalent waters

Do I need to be an advanced paddler?
Moderate Water Safety is suitable for developing paddlers. Advanced and WRT-Pro require confident whitewater skills (typically Grade 3).
Can these courses be run at our centre or club?
Yes. Aaron delivers courses across the UK.
Are certificates included?
Assessment is included where required. Governing body registration fees are separate.
What equipment do I need?
A full kit list is supplied when you book. Technical rescue equipment is provided for teaching; personal PPE is required.
Places are limited and demand is high. A £150 deposit secures your space on a first-come basis.
