Do I need to arrive earlier than my start time?
No, you need to arrive at the start / arrival time listed on your confirmation email. We run to a strict time schedule and failure to arrive on time will result in your session being cancelled.
Can I wear my glasses?
We strongly recommend not wearing glasses for your safety and comfort, if you think this will cause a problem give the office a call to discuss options.
Can I bring my own wetsuit?
Yes, but it must be full length in arms and legs.
Can my dog take part in the activities with me?
Unfortunately not, it’s not just dogs that can’t take part we also don’t allow Budgies, Hamsters or Gold Fish!
How strict are minimum ages?
Very, this is due to safety equipment sizing and activity insurance.
Will I get wet?
We hope so, especially if you are taking part in a water based activity!
Do you have any parking on site?
Unfortunately we do not have any onsite parking, you will need to park in one of the pay and display car parks and allow plenty of time for this especially at weekends and throughout the summer months as Llangollen is a popular tourist destination.
Do we have a guide / instructor with us?
Yes, all of our activities are fully guided with an experienced outdoor enthusiast.
Can I bring my own Go-Pro?
Yes, we have a number of helmets that have Go-Pro attachments on them. These are given out on a first come first served basis and cannot be pre-booked. Chest harnesses are not permitted.
Do you have a cafe on site?
Yes, Riverbanc is a fantastic place to start or finish your day.
Can I take part if I am pregnant?
No, we do not recommend our activities if you are pregnant.
Should I bring my medication with me
Our instructors carry dry bags, if you think you may need your medication with you whilst out on session then yes bring it with you and ask your instructor to keep it safe.
Do I need to pay in full at time of booking?
If you book online full payment is taken, however if you wish to secure your booking with a 25% non-refundable deposit you will need to call the office to arrange this. The 75% balance is due 1 month before the activity date.
What is the booking fee?
A booking fee is charged at checkout which goes directly to Fareharbor which is the booking software company, this is to maintain a safe booking platform. If you do not want to pay this give the office a call.
What is the minimum / maximum group size?
We require a minimum of 4 people for an activity session to take place, if you are booking for less than 4 people you will need to call the office to check availability. Check out each activity for maximum group sizes.
What’s included?
We provide all safety equipment for your activity including wetsuits.
Will my activity be cancelled in bad weather?
Sometimes. On the rare occasion where the weather makes it impossible for us to provide your activity within our strict safety guidelines we may need to postpone. We will be keeping a close eye on weather conditions and will contact you as soon as possible if we need to reschedule your booking.
My booking has dropped in numbers, can I get my money back?
All bookings (including online) include a 25% non-refundable deposit. All bookings must be finalised 1 month prior to your activity date. Any changes to your booking within the month will not be refunded.
Do I need any experience to take part in activities?
No, not at all.
Can I make last minute changes to my booking date?
No, we ask that all bookings are finalised 4 weeks prior to the activity.
