This is one of the highlights of anyones trip to North Wales. 

Guided by one of our qualified instructors you will master the basics of canoeing and also learn some interesting facts about the UNESCO world heritage site.  

A UNESCO world heritage site you'll experience this as it's meant to be, from the waters edge. We will transport you from our centre and along with our instructor you will experience the wonder of this amazing venue. 

During this 2 1/2 hour session you will be guided along some fantastic sections of the Shropshire Union Canal finishing over the Pontycysyllte Aqueduct. 

You will meet at our fantastic centre in the heart of Llangollen where you can grab a coffee at our award winning coffee shop Riverbanc You will be given your equipment by our canoe specialist staff and transported to the start of your trip. 

You will be given basic instructions on how to control your craft and in groups of 2 per canoe head off  towards the Pontcysyllte aqueduct. Sitting 126ft above the River Dee this breathtaking feat of engineering is best experience from the waters edge. We will give you some fun facts about the Aqueduct and you can take in the breathtaking views. 

The session will finish at Trevor basin where we will bring you back to Llangollen. Don't forget to grab some cake for your drive home.  

Price £55 per adult, £50 per child (8 - 16)  including transport and all safety equipment.

Session times: 9.00am and 1.00pm. 

Weekend sessions are 4.00pm only (Saturday and Sunday)  

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
