What is Gorge Walking?

Gorge walking is an exhilarating outdoor activity that involves traversing river gorges, climbing over rocks, and navigating waterfalls. It’s an ideal way for families to connect with nature while enjoying the rush of adventure. Our guided tours ensure safety and enjoyment for all ages, making it a memorable day out.

Gorge walking in North Wales is an absolute blast! Picture this: you’re splashing through crystal-clear waters, navigating rocky paths, and soaking in some stunning scenery. It’s all about getting your adrenaline pumping while you tackle natural obstacles like slides, jumps  and deep pools. Whether you're climbing over boulders or sliding down smooth rock slides, every step is an adventure. Plus, the backdrop of lush greenery and dramatic cliffs makes it even more epic. It’s a perfect way to enjoy the outdoors, bond with friends, and maybe even channel your inner adventurer. Just don’t forget to bring your sense of humour—you're definitely going to get wet!

 

Price: £50 per adult, £45 per child (8-16) includes wetsuits and all safety equipment.

Session times: 9.30am or 1.30pm 

Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.  

This is an off site activity that will require you to meet our instructor at a location that we will provide upon booking.

FAQs
How many people can you take in one session?
We can take up to 30 people in the Gorge at one time.
Do you have changing facilities?
No, this is an off-site activity with no toilets or changing facilities at the venue.
Do I need to be able to swim?
No, the ability to swim is not necessary but you must be confident in water.
What do I need to bring with me?
You will need to bring a pair of trainers you don’t mind getting wet (no open toes, sandals, crocs), swimwear, towel and a pair of shorts to wear over your wetsuit.
Is this available all year round?
Mostly, we close for a 2 week break over the Christmas period for a well earned rest.
Where do we meet?
Gorge Walking is an off-site activity, you will receive a ‘What3words’ with the meeting location prior to arrival (near Corwen).
