Recently myself and a group of family and friends booked to go rafting with White Water Active. I hadn't rafted before so wasn't totally sure what to expect. We were split into three groups. Our raft leader was really informative whilst making sure we all had loads of fun. In the more serene parts he kept us all talking and told us about local sights as we passed them. On the fast parts he made sure we all got soaking wet!
They made it a really memorable time for us all. Would definitely book with them again.

We booked 18 of us on for a birthday activity. Lots of adults and some young teenagers. The afternoon was fantastic fun with a good degree of challenge and excitement. The guides/leaders were very experienced, created a good rapport from the get go, had a fair balance of fun and seriousness about them at the appropriate times and were incredibly skilful at navigating some pretty fast rapids and some stints that got us all wet and laughing. could not recoment the guys highly enough. We will definitely be using them again.

From the moment we were greeted by our guide we were set at ease by his personable and amiable disposition. I was bit bit apprehensive after a dry summer, but plenty of water is fed into the river from the reservoir to make it fun for all ages. We were a three gen party.... two big teens, me and my 82 yo GrandPa. We were hosted/guided by Kris and he was excellent. He made sure G-Pa was ok all the time and following a detailed brief feeling same. (Sorry you had to put in a double shift Kris!!). The two big "Falls" were brilliant and it was a really fun morning. We were togged up in good quality equipment that was checked and double checked by our guide.
Throughout our journey downstream we had an absolute riot. Our guide had us trying all sorts of things and the highlight was being whirled round beneath a waterfall and getting soaking wet on a beautiful spring day!

The instructors and photographer was very friendly and made us feel very safe and wet lol they kept us entertained and interacted between boats as they could only seat 6 so we had two groups but we wasn't far apart.
On return to the office the photographer showed us the photos and I was waiting to be ripped of per photo however they gave us a disc with all the photographs on, absolute bargain.
Definitely recommend and defiantly I will be returning
We under took this activity with our teenage sons to provide a balance to our holidays historic themed activities and it proved a great way to connect with them and have a truly memorable experience , if any one is thinking of having a go - do !! It really is worth it ,in addition the scenery is stunning .

We set off down the river and we all had a really good time, the one go down the river actually took 1 and a half hours which was more then enough!
All along the route there was a photographer who took plenty of quality pictures and we was able to purchase them at the end.
I would recommend this company to anyone wanting a good day out and are into outdoor activities.
